July 23: CalArts and CU-UAW’s Consolidated Bargaining Session
The parties reached tentative agreement on: (1) Leaves, (2) Professional Development, and (3) Release Time.
July 22: CU-UAW Staff Bargaining
During the session with the Staff unit, CU-UAW presented proposals on (1) Staff Compensation, (2) Temporary Employees, (3) Probation, and (4) a staff side letter concerning REDCAT employees.
Week of July 13: CalArts Met to Bargain Extensively with All Units
CalArts and CU-UAW met three times for bargaining the week of July 13: Once for bargaining for Staff, once for bargaining on a consolidated basis, and once for bargaining on faculty articles.
