CalArts Union Information
This site is intended to be a resource for the CalArts community to find information about unionization at the Institute. CalArts supports fair, transparent, and good-faith practices that ensure its employees have the information they need to stay informed throughout this important process.
The Institute respects its employees’ right to organize, and is committed to maintaining a supportive, creative, and collaborative teaching, learning, and working environment for all members of our community. CalArts does not have an opinion for or against unionization, and respects our employees’ decision to engage CalArts United-United Auto Workers as their exclusive bargaining representative.
