The parties met for another consolidated bargaining session on Aug. 4, 2027. Tentative Agreements were reached on Union Access, Union Security, Management Rights, and Policies and Procedures.
CalArts exchanged counter proposals on: (1) Job Descriptions, (2) Scheduling and Workload, (3) Temporary Employees, (4) Grievance and Arbitration, and (5) No Strike, No Lockout for the Staff Unit.
CU-UAW exchanged its counter proposal on (1) Job Descriptions, (2) Scheduling and Workload, (3) Temporary Employees, and (4) Nondiscrimination.
The parties will continue to meet this week for two additional sessions.
