CalArts and CWA complete negotiations on second CBA
The new, three-year collective bargaining agreement will become effective upon ratification by CWA members.
CalArts and UAW agree to arbitrate supervisory status
Both parties will select the arbitrator; submit evidence for consideration, including briefs; and likely further litigate any remaining issues at a hearing before the selected arbitrator.
CalArts and UAW to discuss arbitration
CalArts United-UAW contacted CalArts to propose an arbitration to resolve the issue of supervisory-challenged employees. CalArts and UAW are discussing the proposal.
