On March 5 and 6, eligible CalArts faculty and staff will vote in a secret-ballot election to decide whether or not they want CalArts United-United Auto Workers to be their exclusive bargaining representative.
With limited exceptions for fully remote employees, the election will take place in person:
March 5-6
11 am-2 pm and 4 pm-7 pm
Main Building, Room A210 (former HR suite)

The election will be decided by a simple majority of the votes cast. If you are a member of a bargaining unit, you will be bound by the outcome of the vote and any future collective bargaining agreements—so it’s important to vote and make your opinion count.
