On Jan. 14 and Jan. 21, CalArts and the CU-UAW (“Union”) met for their seventh and eight bargaining sessions, respectively. The Union provided additional proposals for holidays, tax assistance, and employee records. CalArts responded with counterproposals to the holidays and tax assistance proposals, and also a counterproposal for Union’s orientation article provided in previous sessions.
The Union further had questions, which CalArts answered, regarding CalArts’s counterproposal to the Union’s proposal to accrete temporary employees to the bargaining units.
